The worst university you could ever see in the world. They're disorganized, chaotic, and the administration doesn't solve problems. They deliberately fail students to ensure they fail the course. Everyone in the administration shirks responsibility and passes it on to someone else. They're slow to respond, their answers are illogical, and their approach is exhausting, pushing students beyond their limits. Most of their professors are either narcissistic or don't explain things properly, and their English is broken. I absolutely do not recommend anyone enroll there. I feel the International Caucasus University is much better. I'd rather stay home for five years without an education than go back to their university. They make students hate studying, and no matter how hard a student works, they can't get a decent GPA. Their questions are impossible and outside the curriculum. They treat you like a beggar, not like a student contributing to their country's economy. Most students get visa rejections, so acceptance within the country is not guaranteed, especially with rejections from this university.

Most of their doctors are fresh graduates, young, and lack experience. And they don't have good dealings with the students. And even when we go to complain to the administration, the administration doesn't do anything for the doctor, and the doctor goes on more and more and becomes stronger against the students more and more, and even in some of them they have racism, they fail students for no reason. And more than once we complain about them, and the administration does nothing, the administration, on the contrary, strengthens them against us, and the administration doesn't listen to us or listen to our voice. The worst university you can see in the world, and other than that, they fail students for no reason, or they are setting up ambushes for students to fail them in any way to increase their university's economy. Because the system of their university is a commercial system, the most important thing for them is money, a hungry people or a hungry university in general, they want money only, but they are not coming to solve any administrative problems, nor do they care, I mean even the student The one who doesn't think about transfer thinks about transfer, why? Because in all cases, you will fail more than once with them when no one listens to you. So it is better for the person to go to a university that treats them better and their doctors are better than these doctors. At least the administration cooperates with the students.

I would like to raise a serious concern regarding the recent message sent to students about paying an additional fee in order to register for the next semester.

Most students have already paid the full yearly tuition fee (around $6000), which covers 60 credits per academic year. According to the academic system, students are required to complete 30 credits per semester. However, many students take 33 credits in the first semester and 27 credits in the second semester, which still equals the required 60 credits per year that we have already paid for.

Therefore, asking students to pay an additional $100–$300 just to open registration for the next semester is not reasonable. The total number of credits remains the same, and the yearly tuition has already been paid.

Moreover, many students are currently outside the country during the holiday period, and considering the difficult global situation and ongoing conflicts affecting many regions, this sudden request for extra payment creates unnecessary pressure and confusion.

Students expect transparency and fairness from the university. If the yearly tuition covers 60 credits, then registration for the second semester should not require any extra payment when students are simply completing those same credits within the academic year.

I respectfully ask the administration to reconsider this decision and provide a clear explanation, as many students find this policy unfair and unjustified.

If I could give this university 0 stars I would, This is my first semester and first year. So far I have seen nothing from this university but stress and hardship. I dedicated months of my life studying and nothing else, I abandoned my hobbies and my social life to commit to studying dentistry and what I get in return, the University failed me in almost all of my subjects despite them telling me having over 51 points makes you pass the subject but no, it wasn’t that simple, After the exams they now set a extremely high passing score that failed almost the entirety of the first year students. This university just wants money, when you ask them for help they leave you stranded. Teachers and professors don’t help you, they always you alone to study and when you send them an email they just tell you go study alone. They are always late to lectures, sometimes they just sit on their phones and only want their monthly salary. My parents didn’t work hard for us to get scammed from this corrupted and money hungry university which is even close to getting blacklisted by the government. In the end this is all a scheme to let students pay again to repeat subjects and semesters.

My experience at this university has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.

Throughout the entire semester, the lecturer repeatedly violated basic academic standards. She was consistently late, frequently missed scheduled lectures, and often arrived 40 minutes to over an hour late without any explanation or apology. Planned make-up lectures were either not held or also missed.

The midterm exam was conducted in an unprofessional manner, with students given only 20–30 minutes, which is far below acceptable academic standards. Despite these serious and ongoing violations, the university showed no reaction, no investigation, and no corrective action whatsoever.

What is most alarming is that the institution appears to be focused solely on collecting tuition and additional fees, rather than ensuring educational quality or protecting students’ interests. There is no concern for students’ financial situations or well-being. Any issue is met with rigid rules, penalties, and demands for payment, while internal academic failures are ignored.

This approach is especially troubling considering that many students are 18–19 years old, paying significant amounts for an education they do not actually receive. The system seems designed to expand the university’s income at the expense of young students, rather than support their development or provide fair academic conditions.

This is not an isolated case, but a reflection of a broader institutional problem: lack of accountability, lack of transparency, and a clear profit-first mentality.

I expected professionalism and fairness. Unfortunately, I experienced neither.

I wouldnt even like to give it one star cuz its literally worst university they dont support for visa at all and all they are doing is that they are accepting applications and giving admissions taking all the money and then wont support your visa and mostly visa gets rejected by they tsnoba and then when we ask for refund they wont give your money back and its their planning to call students get money and then leave them stranded with nothing and take all the money and student have no hope left plus their own university staff and lawyer’s behaviour is very pathetic plus the education isnt good like there are high chances you wont clear usmle and other important tests after studying from there and yeah please dont waste your money cuz they’ll leave you hopeless and yeah very pathetic… you’ll think its very good uni because of good and modern infrastructure and modern way of learning but its trust me just showing off to get people’s attention plus i contacted foreign department and financial department so many times but no one is replying and yeah they wont give you your refund back

I visited the University of Georgia in Tbilisi recently and was genuinely impressed by its modern campus, clean facilities, and welcoming environment. The university offers a wide range of programs in English, making it attractive for international students like myself. Academically, many students praise the quality of the professors and the learning experience overall.

However, there are some real concerns worth noting. A number of international students have reported repeated problems with student visa approvals and residency permits. Some even claim that the university may be blacklisted or under scrutiny due to political tensions. This has caused delays and stress for students trying to legally stay and study in the country.

Additionally, the administrative support—especially for foreign students—can be hit-or-miss. Several people mentioned that the front office staff are not always responsive or helpful when it comes to urgent matters like immigration paperwork.

That said, the university is still growing and seems committed to improving. I'd recommend it, but with caution: make sure to sort out your visa before arriving, and stay in touch with student forums for updates. If you're okay navigating some bureaucracy, UG can be a solid choice for higher education in Georgia.

Terrible place to study. Neither department functions properly. The site looks like it was made 20 years ago and it's unable to register a subject PROPERLY. When you accouter problem, you will be sent to IT that gonna help you after days. Been studying there for 3 years, and no I'm not mad at the Uni cz i have bad grades, they are quite fine.
Final exams? Okay not that bad of an experience but do you know what curators think? That leaving your bag outside of the room totally without any supervision is right thing to do and if someone steals something "we got cameras, you can go to the security and spend your time investigating where it disappeared"
The front main entrance... Do you call that doors? While entering the building all you can think about is to move fast asap so you wont get hit by the door.

I regret spending my dearest years here.

If I could give -5 stars I would have given. To start off their greed is above me. There is little to no consideration concerning international students. Their only concern is their money meanwhile education wise it is poor. I mean this institute is poorly organized. How can we pay soo much yet gain so little?

Another big issue is that the school is very disorganized. When it comes to simple registration you have to register your subjects within 30mins of that day it opens and if you are lucky you will be able to and for many they may never be able to register all courses concerning that semester because study office absolutely have no sense of direction. Even when regsitering, the ug site literally malfunctions because lots of students are trying to register their courses at the same time. How do you take on what you cannot carry? How can groups be full when i paid my full fees? It seems that no one knows what to do in that school when a student comes with an issue. How can that be? It's quite dreadful to be honest. Everyone takes you on a merry-go-round but they can never actually solve your issue. From study office to IT, from IT to head of department. From head of department back to study office again.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here unless you are alright with the system that will fail you. I feel there needs to be a revaluation of what you stand for as an institution before students become tired.

i would give 0 starts if i could. i regret transferring into this university. it is most likely the worst university i have ever come across; this university has very irresponsible and unreliable international office staff, professors lack a lot of experience, and, in general, they are not willing to handle any kind of responsibility or help students. i was informed that the first semester will be entirely online (except for final exams); however, while registering for my classes, i discover an offline class that is compulsory to attend. moreover, none of the staff members, neither professors nor international office, is understanding people’s different circumstances regarding the sudden demand of attending on campus, since the majority are not even in tbilisi. as a medical student, i absolutely do not recommend this terrible and unorganised university.

Horrible administration staff for International students. A lady by the name of MARIAM who works in the international student department is very rude and does not conduct her job properly for international students. Maybe she doesn’t like foreigners much?? I came with a student and his father and she didn’t even smile or ask to assist she acted strange and rude. Besides this when I call and ask for her with relation to student help during University hours she’s usually not in University doing her work I don’t know how much more worse this universities service for international students can get. She has a horrible attitude as if we are some type of aliens and treats us weirdly or with no respect. I think it’s time they realize that it’s the students tuition fees that makes their salary so it’s about time they drop their ego and attitude and start paying attention to students properly. If we individually complain about UG’s staff we get no help but if we all complain together we will make a difference and have only kind and respectful people working there. Especially with “Nigerian” students, Arabic and Indian, don’t think of coming here unless you like the racism of this place. Many Georgians love this University but if you’re a foreigner I suggest an institute that will not tarnish your standards or judge your ethnicity. Change your attitude UG staff, do your job because working in a University is not a holiday.
