Your Safety Is
Our Priority

Univs.com is built around clear profile information, student protection, and responsible data handling. Verified and Featured labels are shown only when their published definitions apply.

Our Commitments

Four Pillars of Trust

Clear Verification Labels

Verified by Univs means identity and profile content were reviewed by Univs; it is not accreditation, a ranking endorsement, or government recognition.

Clear Data-Sharing Boundaries

We do not sell or rent student personal information. Authorised Univs staff and the institute, adviser, or agent connected to an application may access the information required for their role, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Student Protection First

Students are not charged a Univs platform fee to search, compare, or submit an available application. Institute application, tuition, enrolment, or service fees can still apply and must be distinguished clearly.

Transparent Information

Public institute and programme pages show when their information was last updated. Admissions details can change, so students should recheck the current page and report a discrepancy before relying on a material claim.

University Verification

How Verified by Univs Works

The Verified label is granted only after the applicable identity, representative and profile-content review is complete. It does not make an accreditation or government-recognition claim.

1

Identity Review

We review the institution identity information supplied for the profile and its canonical public mapping.

2

Contact Verification

We confirm that the account owner is an authorised representative of the institution using a verifiable institutional email address.

3

Content Review

Our team reviews the initial program listings for completeness and accuracy before approval. Profiles with missing fee data or misleading program descriptions are returned for correction.

Student Rights

Protections Available to Students

No Univs Platform Fee

Univs does not charge students a platform fee for search, comparison, or an available application. An institute may still charge its own application, tuition, enrolment, or service fees. Unexpected charges should be reported before payment.

Clear Support Route

Self-service and institute-connected application routes are available where configured. Optional adviser or registered-agent support may also be available and should be identified clearly in the relevant workflow.

Privacy by Default

Student records are not public. Access is limited to authorised Univs staff and the institute, adviser, or agent connected to the relevant workflow, subject to role and application scope.

Accurate Information

Published programme listings show the fees and requirements currently recorded by Univs. Details can change; report a discrepancy and confirm material information before relying on it.

Agent Transparency

When a registered agent or adviser supports an application, students should be told that institution-funded commission may apply. Report unclear representation or an unexpected fee.

Right to Report

Public profiles and programmes provide a route to report inaccurate or concerning information. Reports enter a review queue and are prioritised according to safety and material impact.

Review Guidelines

Honest Reviews, Without Abuse

Students may share positive or negative first-hand experiences, including strong criticism and serious allegations. A low rating or allegation is never, by itself, a reason to remove a review. Publication decisions are made by staff, not by an automated score.

What belongs in a review

  • Your own academic, admissions, campus, support, or student-life experience.
  • Specific, respectful criticism—including serious concerns and one-star experiences.
  • Relevant facts, dates, and context that help another student understand what happened.

What needs staff attention

  • Profanity or insulting wording may receive a respectful-writing suggestion, but it can still be submitted for a staff decision.
  • Personal contact details, student or identity numbers, private information, links, or promotions must be removed before submission.
  • Clear threats, hate, encouragement of harm, doxxing, or obvious spam are held privately and cannot be published without staff action.
1. Pre-submit guidance

Writers may see a wording suggestion, but criticism and first-hand allegations can still be submitted for staff review.

2. Private verification

The student relationship is checked using only the selected private method.

3. Human decision

Staff reviews relevance, authenticity, and safety before publication.

4. Report or appeal

Authors and readers can ask Trust & Safety to review a decision or a published review.

No review is automatically deleted. Automated screening provides advisory signals only: ordinary criticism, allegations, profanity, or insulting wording can still enter the pending staff queue. Clear threats, hate, exposed personal information, or obvious spam may be held privately and cannot be published without staff action. Final publication decisions require student verification and staff review; institutes cannot remove a review simply because it is negative.

To report a review or appeal a moderation decision, email trust@univs.com and include the review link or submission details.
