You can apply to several Georgian universities at once by creating one My Univs account and pressing Apply Now on each programme you want; each application keeps its own stage, documents and messages. 8 universities in Georgia currently accept applications through Univs, across 109 programmes, and Univs charges students no agency, consultancy or service fee.
Step by step
- Shortlist programmes. Use the Georgia page or a university profile. Only programmes that show Apply Now accept applications through Univs.
- Apply to the first programme. Complete the online form and upload your documents. This creates your My Univs account.
- Add the next applications. Press Apply Now on each further programme. Your saved details fill the form, so later applications are faster.
- Answer each university separately. Document requests, interviews and offers come from each university on its own timeline.
- Pay only what each university charges. University application fees are charged per university and are shown in your account before you pay.

Budget for the application fees
Application fees add up when you apply widely. For example, applying to the University of Georgia (from USD 170), Alte University (from USD 250) and Grigol Robakidze University (from USD 300) means university fees from USD 720 in total. Applying to one programme each at Georgian Technical University and Tbilisi State Medical University adds from USD 1,000 each.
How to build a sensible shortlist
Applying widely only helps if every programme on your list is one you would accept. Start with the subject and degree level, then filter by teaching language, tuition you can afford for every year, and the nationality rules in each programme’s Requirements section. Three to five applications is usually enough: one or two programmes you are very likely to be admitted to, and one or two that are more competitive. For medicine and dentistry, check recognition in the country where you plan to work before adding a programme.
Keeping several applications organised
Each application in My Univs has its own stage, document checklist, messages and invoices, so a request from one university never gets mixed up with another. Reply inside the application the request belongs to. Upload documents once, but check each university’s list, because some ask for extra items such as a motivation letter or an English certificate. Offers can arrive at different times; you do not have to accept the first one.
Deadlines
All the programmes with Apply Now in this guide are currently taking applications for the Spring 2027 intake. Deadlines differ by programme and are shown on each programme page. Apply early: recognition of your previous education and the visa both take time after the offer.
What happens after you press Apply Now
- Application received. The admissions team checks your form against the programme requirements.
- Documents requested. If anything is missing or unclear, the checklist in your account shows exactly which file and why.
- Interview or test. Some programmes, for example medicine and dentistry, include an online interview or entrance test.
- Offer letter. The university accepts you. Any university application or registration fee is shown at this point if it applies.
- Recognition and enrolment. The Georgian authorities recognise your previous education, and the university issues the enrolment letter you use for your visa.
You follow every stage in My Univs, and you get an email whenever something changes. Guide: How to track your university application.
Checklist before you apply
- Open the programme page and confirm the tuition, duration, teaching language and the next intake shown there today.
- Read the Requirements section: minimum grades, age limits, language evidence and any nationalities or countries of residence that cannot apply.
- Prepare clear scans of your passport, school-leaving certificate or previous degree with transcripts, and a recent photo.
- Ask the university, through your application, whether its application fee is refundable or deducted from tuition.
- Plan for recognition of your previous education by the Georgian authorities, which is a legal step for international students and takes time.
- Keep every invoice and receipt, and pay only through the invoice in your account or the university’s own official channel.
When your offers arrive, compare them on the same basis: tuition for the whole programme, the date by which you must accept, any deposit, and how long recognition and the visa will take. Decline the offers you will not use, so the universities can release the places to other applicants.
What you pay, and to whom
Univs charges students no agency, consultancy or service fee, because Univs is paid by the universities, not by students. Any application or registration fee set by the university is shown before you pay. Tuition is paid to the university. If you pay an invoice by card, any card processing fee is also shown before checkout. Living costs, insurance, visa and travel are separate and are not included in the tables above.
Common questions
Can I apply to more than one university in Georgia?
Yes. One My Univs account can hold several applications at the same time. Each application keeps its own programme, stage, document checklist, messages and invoices, so you can follow every university separately and still see all of them in one place after you sign in.
Do I pay Univs for each application?
No. Univs charges students no agency, consultancy or service fee, because Univs is paid by the universities, not by students. Each university may charge its own application or registration fee, from USD 170 to USD 1,000, and that amount is shown in your account before you pay it.
How many programmes can I apply to?
Univs sets no limit on the number of applications. Each university decides on its own applications and may charge its own fee, so apply only to programmes you would really accept. For most students, three to five well-chosen applications across different universities give enough choice without wasting fees.
