✏️ How to Apply
  1. 1
    Submit Online Application

The admission process begins with submitting the university application form along with the required academic and personal documents. Students must provide clear scanned copies of their passport, educational certificates, transcripts, and passport size photographs. Once the application is submitted, the admissions team reviews the documents for eligibility and verification.

  2. 2
    Interview Schedule

After the initial document review, eligible students are invited for an online interview conducted by the university. The interview is usually scheduled in advance, and students receive the date and time through email or WhatsApp. The interview helps the university evaluate the student’s communication skills, academic background, and motivation for joining the program.

  3. 3
    English Language Test

Students may be required to attend a basic English proficiency test as part of the admission process. The test evaluates the student’s understanding of English, communication ability, and readiness to study in an English medium environment. This step is especially important for international students applying for English-taught programs.

  4. 4
    Offer Letter Received

Once the student successfully completes the interview and document evaluation process, the university issues an official Offer Letter or Conditional Admission Letter. This document confirms that the student has been accepted into the selected program, subject to completing the remaining admission formalities.

  5. 5
    Application Fee Payment

After receiving the offer letter, students are required to pay the university application or registration fee. This payment confirms the student’s intention to proceed with the admission process. Payment receipts must be shared with the team for verification and further processing.

  6. 6
    Tuition Fee Payment

Students are required to pay the tuition fee for the selected program. Tuition fee payment secures the student’s seat at the university and allows the university to proceed with the next admission procedures.

  7. 7
Submission to the Ministry of Education (MOE)

Once the documents are fully prepared, the university submits the student’s application to the Ministry of Education of Georgia for official approval. The Ministry reviews the student’s educational qualifications and verifies eligibility for studying in Georgia.

  8. 8
Ministry Approval, Ministry Order and Invitation Letter.

After successful review by the Ministry of Education, the student receives official Ministry approval and a Ministry Order. This is an important document confirming the student’s authorization to study in Georgia and proceed with the enrollment process. Also, students receive invitation letter.

  9. 9

Applicants need the previous qualification required for their chosen degree, the requested identity and education documents, B2-level English evidence or Alte’s internal test, and a successful interview or any program-specific assessment. Final enrollment also depends on Georgian recognition and ministry procedures.

Use the direct-application form linked from Alte University’s official international-student page. After submitting the form and documents, the university reviews eligibility, arranges the interview or English test, issues conditional instructions, and begins the Georgian recognition process for successful applicants.

Applicants generally provide a passport and photo. First-year applicants also provide a completed application form and school-leaving certificate; transfer applicants provide an academic transcript showing ECTS credits and may need course syllabi. Alte can request translations or further program-specific documents.

Alte University’s current international offering includes English-taught Medicine, Dentistry, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, and Business Administration. Availability can vary by intake, so confirm the open program before applying.

Alte requires B2-level English, but IELTS or TOEFL is not the only route. Applicants may use an accepted B2 certificate, evidence of at least one year of English-medium study where accepted, or Alte University’s internal B2 test, followed by the required interview.

Alte University’s current official direct-applicant guidance lists a USD 250 application fee and states that it is non-refundable. Confirm the amount and payment instructions on the current official application page before paying.

Alte University’s direct-applicant page does not publish one universal spring or fall deadline. Intake availability and closing dates are program-specific, so applicants should request the current date from Alte’s admissions team and allow enough time for the interview, ministry process, enrollment, and visa steps.

Alte University may announce tuition-funding or scholarship campaigns, but availability and international-student eligibility can change and funding is not guaranteed with admission. Check the current campaign rules, covered amount, academic conditions, and renewal terms directly with Alte.

Alte University states that it was re-authorized in Georgia on December 16, 2024 for six years. Its quality-assurance page says its operating programs are accredited except the English-language Dentistry program, which is authorized. Recognition for further study or professional licensing abroad remains destination-specific.

Alte University’s English-taught Medical Doctor program normally takes six years, while its English-taught Dentistry program normally takes five years.

Yes. Alte’s current guidance accepts Medical Doctor transfer applications for semesters I–VII and Dentistry transfer applications for semesters I–V. Applicants must provide a signed transcript with ECTS credits and scores plus detailed course syllabi; Alte evaluates the records, so placement is not automatic.

Alte University provides international-student and relocation guidance that can help students search for accommodation in Tbilisi. This does not guarantee a university room, so students should confirm available options, rent, deposit, utilities, distance, and contract terms before committing.
