Figures come from the Univs catalogue and were checked on 20 October 2026. Tuition and fees are set by each university and can change; the programme page always shows the current figure. *Whole-programme tuition is the yearly fee multiplied by the published duration, at the current rate.

Tbilisi State Medical University has the higher university application fee (from USD 1,000), so for a single application the total first-year outlay can be closer than the tuition suggests.

How we compared

Every figure comes from the programme records that universities publish on Univs.com, the same data that powers the programme pages. We included programmes with a published yearly tuition, sorted them from lowest to highest, and multiplied the yearly fee by the published duration to show tuition for the whole programme at the current rate. Application fees are the lowest amount each university lists; where a university lists more than one application fee, the programme page shows which one applies to you. We did not add living costs, insurance, visa or travel, because those depend on how and where you live. We also did not rank universities on quality: price is only one input, and the right programme is the one you are eligible for, that is recognised where you plan to work, and that you can afford for every year of study.

The programmes

Nursing in Georgia is a four-year bachelor’s degree combining health sciences with supervised clinical placements. Pharmacy programmes in the table are four-year degrees covering pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and practice. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tbilisi State Medical University trains specialists in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. If you plan to work in another country, ask its nursing or pharmacy regulator which qualifications it recognises and whether you will need a licensing exam or extra training.

Placements and practical costs

Clinical placements usually take place in Tbilisi hospitals and pharmacies. Ask the university how placements are arranged, whether you will need vaccinations or a uniform, and whether there are costs for transport to placement sites. These can add to the budget alongside tuition, the application fee and living costs.

Checklist before you apply

  • Open the programme page and confirm the tuition, duration, teaching language and the next intake shown there today.
  • Read the Requirements section: minimum grades, age limits, language evidence and any nationalities or countries of residence that cannot apply.
  • Prepare clear scans of your passport, school-leaving certificate or previous degree with transcripts, and a recent photo.
  • Ask the university, through your application, whether its application fee is refundable or deducted from tuition.
  • Plan for recognition of your previous education by the Georgian authorities, which is a legal step for international students and takes time.
  • Keep every invoice and receipt, and pay only through the invoice in your account or the university’s own official channel.

What happens after you press Apply Now

  1. Application received. The admissions team checks your form against the programme requirements.
  2. Documents requested. If anything is missing or unclear, the checklist in your account shows exactly which file and why.
  3. Interview or test. Some programmes, for example medicine and dentistry, include an online interview or entrance test.
  4. Offer letter. The university accepts you. Any university application or registration fee is shown at this point if it applies.
  5. Recognition and enrolment. The Georgian authorities recognise your previous education, and the university issues the enrolment letter you use for your visa.

You follow every stage in My Univs, and you get an email whenever something changes. Guide: How to track your university application.

Clinical placements are a large part of both degrees, so ask each university how many placement hours are included, which hospitals or pharmacies it works with, and whether placements are taught in English. These answers often matter more to your future registration than a small difference in yearly tuition.

What you pay, and to whom

Univs charges students no agency, consultancy or service fee, because Univs is paid by the universities, not by students. Any application or registration fee set by the university is shown before you pay. Tuition is paid to the university. If you pay an invoice by card, any card processing fee is also shown before checkout. Living costs, insurance, visa and travel are separate and are not included in the tables above.
