Goals, Outcomes & Methods
Train independent researchers and university-level teachers in business administration; develop mastery of contemporary management paradigms and doctoral research methodology; guide each doctoral student through problem seminars, block seminars and colloquia to an original dissertation that contributes new knowledge to the field; and build an international publication record through articles in referenced and internationally indexed journals and presentations at international forums.
Graduates can critically evaluate and extend current theory in business administration; design and carry out an original, methodologically rigorous research project; publish and present research findings to international academic audiences; teach business disciplines at higher-education level; and act with research integrity and academic autonomy, as demonstrated by the successful defence of a doctoral dissertation.
Doctoral problem and block seminars, individual scientific work and consultations with the scientific supervisor, colloquia, academic writing and publication, teaching practice, and presentation of research at international forums.
